Keeping track of time is important when you are a training athlete. You need to time your workouts, your meals, your sleep, some times even your breathing! Keeping a nice, visually appealing timepiece is great, but they can be extremely hard to keep in good condition through the trials of training being so active in general.
I found my saving grace in the casio g-shock. They are rubber-banded, extremely high quality sports watches that are guaranteed to last throughout whichever rigorous training excercise you decide to do today. The casio g-shock that I got had a smooth rubber wrist band, a beautiful quarts front panel, and had all of the time/date/stopwatch functions that I needed to train at my top.
It’s been a year now, and I’m still wearing the casio g-shock! I clean it up every few weeks, but that’s just with a damp rag. It still looks brand new, and I always get compliments on it when I am at the gym!
